Built in the heart of the Thessalian plain, Larissa has been continuously inhabited for thousands of years. From the ancient acropolis of the Fortress to Saint Achilleios and the modern concrete city blocks, the city bears layers of time and life — a threshold place, poised between an agricultural past and an urban present.
In this tableau, I return to the streets where I grew up, seeking through photographic wandering my inner landscape. With me, my child. Present in this exploration, growing up in the same city as I did, and through that, I begin to see again — the past and the future coexisting within the same frame. The city ceases to be merely a space; it becomes a connection through time.
My photographic work is a personal document; an ongoing dialogue with place, memory, and transformation. An attempt to give voice to the unspoken within the familiar.
